Vintage Edward Green Derbies UK10

Great pair of vintage Edward Green chestnut brown derbies. Made in Northampton, England. Two-eyelet lacing, full leather lining and insole, double leather Goodyear welted soles. There is no model or size written inside, just one six-digit number, so I assume they were made to order. I would say they are a UK10 and a standard width. Condition is very good. The patina is fantastic and the double sole gives them a sturdy appearance. There is the usual wear to soles and they need reheeling. Only real defect is some dark discolouration to the rear of both shoes. It’s the same on both so must be from a bike / car / something. Edward Green shoes are some of the best you can get anywhere, and this is a great pair that would be well over £1,000 new, never mind how much a bespoke pair would be. True old money / academia style and class. No EG box, but will be shipped in one. Thanks for looking.
